Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team. This role plays a key part in auditing, maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide HR support
- Track and update HR systems (RES, spreadsheets, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
- Support HR projects and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ year of administrative or HR experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Experience in healthcare or home health (a plus)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Pay: $17.50 per hour
