Human Resources Assistant

Overview

Join our dedicated home health team as an HR Assistant who understands the unique demands of home health care operations. You will support HR functions across talent management, employee relations, and compliance — with a focus on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) scheduling workflows and hands-on learning of our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Duties

  • Coordinate EVV scheduling and support field staff with visit verification processes, ensuring accurate time and location documentation in compliance with state Medicaid requirements. EVV
  • Learn and navigate the agency's EMR system, assisting with employee-facing documentation, HR data entry, and records management within the platform. EMR
  • Assist with talent acquisition for home health roles — sourcing caregiver candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing onboarding through ATS platforms such as iCIMS or Workday. ATS
  • Support employee orientation for new aides and clinical staff, including EVV training, compliance reviews, and performance evaluation coordination.
  • Manage benefits administration tasks including enrollment, changes, and inquiries using HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors or UltiPro. HRIS
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and home health-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee relations by addressing caregiver inquiries, assisting with conflict resolution, and facilitating internal communications across the care team.
  • Contribute to workforce planning initiatives including scheduling analysis, succession planning, and affirmative action compliance reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR or administrative roles
  • Familiarity with EVV systems and scheduling in a home health willingness to learn required.
  • Comfort learning a new EMR platform; prior experience with clinical or care management software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of home health compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support caregivers, clinical staff, and administrative teams across diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail in data collection, compliance documentation, and reporting especially in regulated home health environments.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
