JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Department to ensure efficient daily operations. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, compliance, and employee communications while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The HR Assistant serves as a first point of contact for employees and applicants and ensures consistent application of HR procedures and timelines. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the District.

CALENDAR: 12 Months / 8 hour day
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant: Inside working conditions
Frequent: Standing, Walking, Sitting, Telephone, Computer
Occasional: Bending/Stooping, Reaching/Pushing/Pulling, Climbing stairs, Driving, Lifting (20 lbs) 25 feet, Outside, Extremes of temperature/humidity.
