Position Summary
Libertana Home Health’s Human Resources Assistant will help to grow the HR department, by assisting the department in all areas of Human Resources.
Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 3 year of experience in Human Resources or a related industry.

High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish.

Basic understanding of Human Resource Functions.

Proficient in the use of computers.

Data entry experience and knowledge of spreadsheets required.

Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Maintains personnel database.

Draft employment verification letters and other HR documentation as needed.

Handles employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

Maintains employee review platform.

Administers pre-employment paperwork

Conduct reference checks

Accurately maintains workflows in our applicant tracking system

Inputting employees into all the various HR and EMR systems throughout the organization.

Conducts follow-up calls with new employees at three-week and three-month intervals to assess their onboarding experience.

Backup to Recruiter.

Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
-
Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).

Close vision requirements due to computer work.

Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
