Reporting To : Human Resource Manager

Work Type : On-site

Position Summary

Libertana Home Health’s Human Resources Assistant will help to grow the HR department, by assisting the department in all areas of Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have at least 3 year of experience in Human Resources or a related industry.
  • High School Diploma or Graduation Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resource Functions.
  • Proficient in the use of computers.
  • Data entry experience and knowledge of spreadsheets required.
  • Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Maintains personnel database.
  • Draft employment verification letters and other HR documentation as needed.
  • Handles employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintains employee review platform.
  • Administers pre-employment paperwork
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Accurately maintains workflows in our applicant tracking system
  • Inputting employees into all the various HR and EMR systems throughout the organization.
  • Conducts follow-up calls with new employees at three-week and three-month intervals to assess their onboarding experience.
  • Backup to Recruiter.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
