Human Resources Assistant

Local family owned Petaluma based Manufacturing and Distribution Company is seeking a Human Resources/ Safety professional to help support and expand our current HR/ Safety Program. This position is full time Monday thru Friday 830am – 5pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in processing payroll, including timecard review and final payroll submission
• Comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for needed HR Documents
• Updating current HR and Safety documents
• Assist in creating, implementing, and tracking Safety trainings
• Assist in employee onboardings / terminations
• Assist in employment relations issues, complaints/ harassment allegations
• Maintaining Employee records
• Assist in Yearly Benefit Renewals

Qualifications:

• Degree and/or training certificates or equivalent work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in High Level Administration Assistance
• Ability to multitask and work independently as well as with a team
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Bi-lingual (Spanish)

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
