Human Resources Assistant-Addbac

Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters at the Add Bac location in Dalton. This role requires a highly organized and forward-thinking individual who can support the employee life cycle, from recruiting and onboarding to maintaining personnel records. The HR Assistant will collaborate closely with the HR Director in Atlanta while providing on-site support to employees and managers in Dalton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the on-site HR point of contact for Add Bac employees in Dalton.

  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including:

    • Processing new hire paperwork.

    • Entering data into ADP.

    • Assisting employees who complete paper onboarding forms and transitioning their information into ADP.

  • Coordinate with managers and the HR Director to schedule and conduct interviews.

  • Assist with recruiting and hiring efforts for Brumark (Dalton) including interview scheduling and onboarding coordination.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files in compliance with company policy and employment regulations.

  • Provide general HR administrative support including filing, reporting, and responding to employee inquiries.

  • Assist with employee communications and ensure new hires understand HR processes and next steps.

  • Support the HR Director in implementing HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

  • Experience with ADP or similar HR/payroll software.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks.

  • Knowledge of HR processes and best practices, including recruiting, onboarding, and personnel filing.

Work Environment:

  • Based in Dalton, GA at the Add Bac location.

  • Reports directly to the HR Director located in Atlanta, GA.

  • Must be comfortable working independently while supporting a remote HR leadership team.
