Human Resources Assistant / Admin Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant / Admin Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our HR operations, ensuring smooth administrative workflows and supporting strategic HR initiatives.   • Assist with human capital management activities, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee orientation, and ongoing employee evaluation processes.
  • Support benefits administration by maintaining accurate records, processing enrollments, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry and updates using platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
  • Coordinate workforce management tasks including scheduling, attendance tracking with Kronos or UltiPro, and leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requests.
  • Contribute to project management efforts related to organizational design, change management initiatives, and succession planning strategies.
  • Facilitate employee relations by assisting in conflict management procedures and promoting positive communication across teams.
  • Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to employment & labor law regulations, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning requirements. Skills
  • Strong understanding of human resources management principles including talent management, performance management, and training & development.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian; experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS or Lever is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels and manage social media for employer branding purposes.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle data collection, data entry, and document preparation efficiently.
  • Knowledge of employment laws including FMLA, workers’ compensation policies, OSHA regulations, and labor law compliance.
  • Experience in administrative functions such as contracts management, payroll processing using systems like Paylocity or Dayforce, and benefits administration.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
