REPORTS TO: Human Resources Director
STARTING WAGE: $19.34-22.48 per hour; adjusted for relevant education and experience.

Residential Opportunities, Inc. (ROI) is seeking a detail-driven, people-focused Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. Recruitment & Hiring
Pre-screen applicants and schedule interviews
Conduct entry-level interviews and make hiring recommendations
Ensure background checks and pre-screening compliance
Design recruitment materials and social media content
Participate in job fairs and recruitment events
Onboarding & Training
Coordinate and participate in New Hire Orientation
Schedule and track required employee trainings
Monitor compliance with agency and program requirements
HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain employee databases and personnel files
Audit records for contract and regulatory compliance
Prepare accurate HR reports
Cross-train to support Benefits and other HR functions
Culture & Customer Service
Provide professional support to visitors and staff
Maintain strict confidentiality

What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of administrative or HR support experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Associate’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Experience with recruitment marketing or social media is a plus
