HUMAN RESOURCESASSISTANT-FLOATER

Part-Time(ADMIN)

Monday-Friday 8:00am to 2:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is apart-timepositionworking under the direction of the Human ResourcesDirector.Administers personnel/human resources activities for the agency.Responsibilitiesincludebut,are not limited toall matters relating to Human Resources.

Always Maintains confidentiality.

Non-Exempt Position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The employee in this position performs a variety of Human Resources andAdministrativeduties including, but not limited to, the following:

Completes recruiting for all open adminpositionsvia job boards, companywebsite,collegesanduniversities.

Conducts interviews along with the interview panel for open admin positions

Assures complianceofall personnel files along with HR assistants and reports anything out of compliancetothe HR Manager.

Conductsandparticipatesin Job/Career fairs

Completes All onboarding for new hire administrative employees

Complete Administrative Offer letters

Administers andmaintainspersonnel files, both paper and electronic

Answers staff questionsregardingHuman Resources issues.

Completesnew hire orientation including all paperwork, background,scheduling fingerprinting, physicals (ifrequiredfor position) and drug screens.

Communicates with Benefits Coordinator if equipment is needed such as cell phone or laptop as well as for the administration of benefits.

Completes all Admin employees off boarding such as receipt of any company equipment, DOL separation notices and change of status forms.

Complete clerical and secretarialdutiesassigned.

Complete Employee Verification Forms

Answer HR CallerQueinquiries

Manages HR Ticket System

Assists Investigations Manager and HR Recruiter as needed: Filing, record keeping

Additionalpayroll responsibilities TBD.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited college or university.Must have experience in Human Resources.Musthave knowledge of personal computers (must know Microsoft Office Suite of Applications), calculator, fax machine, multiple line telephone systems, copier.Musthavegood communicationskills, both written and spoken.Musthave a pleasant personality and be able to work well with others.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

He/she musthave a caring and patient attitude.He/she must have a working knowledge of the ARC of SWGACenter's Mission and Visionas well as the agency's programs and services.He/she musthave a knowledge and understanding of the agency's accreditation process and its value to the organization.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

A business office environment is provided to enable efficiency and productivity.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

He/Shewill be supervised bythe Human ResourcesDirector.

He/she will have no supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
