Summarised Role & Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at CMA Terminals Khalifa Port, plays a vital role in aligning business objectives with employees and management within the organization, serves as a consultant to management on HR relevant issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR related needs, communicating those needs proactively within the HR department and the business leadership team. The HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions and formulates partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.


The Performance Management, Learning and Development Partner will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance organizational performance, employee development, and continuous learning. This role combines a focus on optimizing performance management processes with the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives. This role will partner with managers and employees to ensure that performance goals align with business objectives and that employees have access to the resources, and training and development they need to grow within the organization.


Propose and drive the implementation of a comprehensive and competitive total rewards strategy, in alignment with the CMAT business strategy, to support business growth and strive for positive impacts on employees’ performance and satisfaction.



Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • University/Business school degree in HR/Business, with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a multicultural environment, with extensive knowledge of HR Business Partnering tools, technologies, and platforms.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and consultative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR-related software applications.
