Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner specializing in Employee Relations to join our client's team of HRBPs. In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. Your expertise in human capital management, conflict resolution, and organizational design will drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support change management efforts, and ensure adherence to employment laws. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence organizational culture through strategic planning, talent management, and process improvement.
Duties
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with business goals, including succession planning and talent acquisition initiatives.
- Support change management processes by facilitating communication, training, and transition plans during organizational restructuring or policy updates.
- Manage employment law compliance by staying current on FMLA regulations, labor law changes, and HRIS system updates such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or ADP.
- Lead employee orientation sessions and conduct performance evaluations to promote ongoing development and engagement.
- Utilize data analysis skills to collect and interpret HR metrics related to employee satisfaction, turnover rates, and process efficiencies for continuous improvement.
- Oversee benefits administration processes and assist with HR sourcing strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; familiarity with data collection tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead process improvements and organizational design initiatives.
- Ability to analyze HR data for insights that inform strategic planning and decision-making.
