Do Great Things! Durham Technical Community College is hiring an Human Resources Business Partner of Employee Relations.
We are looking for candidates with exceptional interpersonal skills for the position of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in employee relations. The HRBP in the Employee Relations position will be responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of all DTCC employee law-related activities that include EEOC, Title 7, and Title 9 investigations, ADA, Policy update compliance, training, DOL, and personnel record retention, and Audit inquiries, etc. This employee relations position will be responsible for collecting and analyzing employee data, organizing and updating employee files, and overseeing employee orientation and training, among other duties. This employee relations position will need to have extensive knowledge of employment law and investigation experience, and adhere to institutional and state regulations at all times.

Excellent computer skills as evidenced by experience with at least one data analysis/business intelligence software product (such as Colleague, SAS, SPSS, Informer, Estudias) and competence with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.

Personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of a community college.

Normal Working Hours:
A minimum of a 40-hour work week, as determined with the supervisor, to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities, including occasional evening and weekend hours. Summer schedules may vary to enable four-day or four-and-one-half-day work weeks.
