How you would contribute to our organization and the Twin Cities region:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a senior individual contributor position within Human Resources serving as the primary contact for managers and supervisors seeking HR services. The HRBP bridges HR processes with business objectives, serving as a consultant and advisor to assigned business units.
This position is eligible for a hybrid (both remote and onsite) telework arrangement. Candidate's permanent residence must be in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
This posting will establish a six-month eligibility list for current and future openings.
Any of the following combinations in completed education (degree field of study in human resources management, business administration or related field) and experience (in ALL of the following areas: employee relations, performance management, job classification and compensation):

Work is performed in a standard office setting. Requires travel between primary work site to other sites.

If you are new to the Metropolitan Council, you must pass a background check, which verifies education and employment, covers driving record and any criminal record. If you have a criminal conviction, you do not automatically fail. The Metropolitan Council considers felony, gross misdemeanor and misdemeanor convictions on a case-by-case basis, based on whether they are related to the job and whether the candidate has demonstrated adequate rehabilitation.
