Human Resources Business Partner Manager

As the HR Business Partner Manager, you will act as a strategic partner to the business by being a business advocate, talent strategist, and trusted advisor to the US Field Visuals and Functional (Project Teams) team. In this role, you'll be the HR partner for a distributed team of employees, embedding HR strategy into daily operations and guiding leaders with expert support. Your day-to-day will involve coaching managers, solving people challenges, and fostering a culture of belonging and engagement. You’ll collaborate across Corporate and Field teams to ensure consistent HR practices and drive high-impact business outcomes. The work is fast-paced and agile, offering the chance to influence performance and shape a thriving workplace.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you’ll do

• Advise leaders on HR strategy to align talent, structure, and culture with business goals.
• Lead and support people-focused initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness.
• Collaborate on workforce planning, development, and change management across key HR functions.
• Build trusted relationships to influence decisions and elevate leadership impact.
• Use data and business insights to guide talent strategies and anticipate future needs.
• Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and accountability through thoughtful HR practices.

Basic qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations
• 3 years of experience in talent management, including onboarding, development, and succession planning
• Willing to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays
• Available to work onsite at the Richfield, MN office three days per week
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence without formal authority
