WHAT IS THE JOB?
The Human Resources Clerk provides basic office and administrative support to the Human Resources department at Strategies to Empower People. This position focuses on filing, database entry, and other foundational tasks for our HR department as well as any additional duties our management and director teams assign. This position is radically important to the success of our HR team, and in turn the company as a whole - our Human Resources team can't operate efficiently without the support of the HR Clerk!
This position requires competency using Microsoft Excel and involved a lot of data entry!
SCHEDULE
The Human Resources Clerk works Monday through Friday from 8:30a to 5p with a half hour lunch.
The rate of pay for this position ranges from $18.50 to $20 per hour dependent upon relevant experience and skillset.
LOCATION
This position operates out of our Sacramento headquarters, which is located at 2330 Glendale Lane in Sacramento, zip code 95825.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The Human Resources Clerk is an entry-level office position - we are looking for applicants with some clerical/office experience (filing, computer use, fax/phone/etc.), as well as proficiency using Microsoft Excel. This position supports a large team (8+ members) and will also be responsible for providing breaks and coverage for our front desk.
Any experience with HR-specific clerical work is a plus!
We need an employee who is adept at using the Microsoft Suite of programs, which includes Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. Aside from general computer programs the Human Resources Clerk will make use of our company database system (eRSP) and needs solid computer skills, organization skills, and top-notch alphabetization and filing skills to excel!
