Human Resources Coordinator

Are you passionate about supporting people and making HR run smoothly? We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in creating a positive employee experience while keeping our HR operations accurate, compliant, and efficient.

This position touches all areas of HR — from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits, and engagement — making it a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their HR career in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

  • HR Operations & Compliance – Maintain HRIS and records, assist with audits, ensure compliance, and complete reporting requirements.
  • Recruitment & Hiring – Post jobs, review resumes, schedule interviews, support offers, and represent the organization at 2–3 job fairs each year.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding – Coordinate pre-employment, lead orientations, support the first 90 days, and ensure smooth transitions during offboarding.
  • Payroll & Compensation – Review bi-weekly payroll, process adjustments, and assist with compensation research and payments.
  • Benefits & Leave – Be the go-to person for benefits, retirement plans, open enrollment, and leave (including FMLA).
  • Engagement & Events – Help with newsletters, recognition programs, and staff events like Development Day, Appreciation Week, and holiday celebrations.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills with keen attention to detail
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting a multi-location workforce
  • Familiarity with Insperity HR systems

This position will require someone to work in both the Irving and Plano location two days per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
