Job Brief

The HR Coordinator who will report to our office in Snohomish, WA. They will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the HR department.

The Human Resources Coordinator will report to our Headquarters office in Snohomish, WA. They will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resources department; participate in the recruitment process by identifying, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates; and work with our ATS (applicant tracking system) to enhance time-to-fill metrics. The Human Resources Coordinator will also support Benefits and Legal projects and reports.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Update and assist in writing job descriptions.
  • Ensure timely posting of requisitions in ATS system.
  • Source potential candidates from ATS and various online channels.
  • Assist with recruitment and interview process. Track status of candidates in ATS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms for vetting.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation that meet State and Federal Guidelines.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Provide support to the HR department, including Benefits and Legal, such as identifying and tracking Worker’s Comp/SOC codes .
  • Conduct or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent note taking when phone screening and interviewing applicants.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and payroll system.
  • Experience with sourcing techniques.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Worker’s Compensation code definitions and tracking.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Personnel Management, or comparable experience is desired.
  • 1-5 years’ working in a similar position is required.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay Range:
$25.00 - $29.00 per hour, DOE
