Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of human capital management systems and employment laws to facilitate strategic HR initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Manage talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives.
  • Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans, ensuring compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA and OSHA.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and manage systems including Paychex for effective workforce management.
  • Support change management efforts and assist in organizational design projects to align workforce structure with strategic goals.
  • Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, including conflict management and resolution strategies.
  • Assist in compliance activities related to employment & labor law, affirmative action planning, and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to HR sourcing strategies via social media management and other recruiting channels to attract top talent.
  • Support training & development programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and career growth opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on HR metrics such as performance management outcomes, succession planning status, and HR data collection efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles with familiarity in HR related data systems.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, workers' compensation policies, and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition tools and payroll systems (Paychex).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills; experience with project management tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry, report generation, and HR analytics for strategic planning purposes.
  • Familiarity with organizational design principles and change management practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required; relevant certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
