Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for Slingshot’s onboarding, employee experience, and core HR processes. This role coordinates onboarding activities, employee communications, benefits support, leave administration, and internal HR resources to ensure a consistent, compliant, and well- organized employee experience.
Working under the direction of the Director of HR, the Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations, maintains accurate records and timelines, and serves as a dependable point of contact for employee questions and requests.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & HR Compliance

Coordinate onboarding processes with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth and compliant new-hire experience

Manage onboarding communications, including welcome emails and first-day readiness details

Maintain onboarding checklists, tools, and tracking systems

Administer Form I-9 completion and E-Verify submissions

Track onboarding documentation and follow up on missing items as needed
Benefits & Employee Support

Serve as a first point of contact for employee benefits questions

Provide guidance on benefits enrollment and general inquiries

Coordinate issue resolution with the Director of HR

Maintain benefits-related resources and employee communications
Leave &Workers’ Compensation Administration

Administer FMLA and related leave processes under the direction of the Director of HR

Provide employees with required leave documentation, timelines, and next steps

Track leave balances, documentation deadlines, and return-to-work dates

Coordinate Workers’ Compensation claims with HR leadership and insurance carriers

Maintain accurate and confidential leave and claim records
Swag Shop & Employee Resources

Administer day-to-day operations of Slingshot’s in-house Swag Shop
-
Manage inventory levels, reorders, and seasonal needs

Maintain ordering guides and internal communications for employees
Training, Events & Reporting

Coordinate logistics for Store Manager Training, including scheduling, materials, food, and attendance tracking

Provide administrative support for employee events and engagement activities

Support monthly CES reporting through accurate data entry and tracking
Required Qualifications

Experience in HR administration, onboarding coordination, benefits support, leave administration, or a related administrative role

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and
