Job Title: HR Coordinator

What You Do:

The HR Coordinator supports day‑to‑day HR operations and plays a key role in creating a consistent, supportive, and compliant employee experience. The HR Coordinator role partners closely with managers and employees to provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, leave administration, onboarding, and policy interpretation. The HR Coordinator helps ensure HR processes are clear, timely, and aligned with organizational expectations.

· Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues.

· Support managers with performance conversations, documentation, and coaching.

· Assist in drafting and managing annual review processes.

· Guide leaders through corrective action steps and ensure consistency in application.

· Support hiring managers with job descriptions, interview coordination, and candidate communication.

· Facilitate onboarding tasks, including I‑9 completion, E‑Verify, new‑hire check‑ins (30/60/90/180‑day), and orientation support.

· Administer FMLA and other leaves, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and compliance.

· Coordinate with employees and managers on return‑to‑work processes and accommodations.

· Lead or support the ADA interactive process, including documentation, communication, and follow‑up.

· Work with managers to identify reasonable accommodations and ensure implementation.

· Conduct or support workplace investigations, including intake, interviews, documentation, and summary reports.

· Maintain confidentiality and ensure non‑retaliation practices are followed.

· Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

· Support policy updates, SOP development, and communication of HR processes.

· Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation retention.

· Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.

· Partner with managers to ensure employees have what they need to be successful.

· Support engagement initiatives, recognition efforts, and communication improvements.

What You Bring:

Essential skills include:

· 1 year of experience in HR operations, recruiting and employee relations, preferred.

· HS Diploma, GED or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree, preferred.

· SHRM-CP or PHR certification, preferred.

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-oriented leadership required.

· Strong understanding of FMLA, ADA, EEO, and general employment law principles.

· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

· Strong communication, documentation, and relationship‑building skills.

· Comfortable balancing compliance with empathy and practical problem‑solving.

· Ability to work on-site schedule in office setting Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
