Overview
We are a social enterprise seeking a dedicated and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of employment law, HRIS systems, benefits management, and employee recruitment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensuring our organization remains compliant, efficient, and engaged.

Duties

  • Coordinate and support talent acquisition processes.
  • Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the organization.
  • Assist with employee evaluation procedures.
  • Administer benefits programs and handle benefits administration tasks in compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR data entry and records within HRIS systems for effective workforce management.
  • Contribute to affirmative action planning efforts and assist with compliance reporting related to employment & labor law requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources roles within HR environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing tools for recruitment activities.
  • Excellent communication and EI skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
