We are a social enterprise seeking a dedicated and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of employment law, HRIS systems, benefits management, and employee recruitment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensuring our organization remains compliant, efficient, and engaged.
Duties
- Coordinate and support talent acquisition processes.
- Manage employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the organization.
- Assist with employee evaluation procedures.
- Administer benefits programs and handle benefits administration tasks in compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA, OSHA, and workers' compensation regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR data entry and records within HRIS systems for effective workforce management.
- Contribute to affirmative action planning efforts and assist with compliance reporting related to employment & labor law requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources roles within HR environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
- College degree preferred.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing tools for recruitment activities.
- Excellent communication and EI skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
