Position Summary:
The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to both the Administration and HR department and assists with various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and recordkeeping. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in fostering a positive, efficient, and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications
- Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records, including licenses, certifications, and immunization records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and communication of benefit programs
- Mange and track employee leaves of absences, ensuring compliance with company polices and applicable laws
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures in line with healthcare compliance standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws and regulations
- Assist with employee relations and provide support to leadership on HR matter
- Support timekeeping, payroll processing, and attendance tracking in coordination with the payroll
- Managing the offboarding process for employees who resign, including coordinating and assisting with the processing and disbursement of the final check.
- Coordinating and planning HR events and initiatives (e.g., open enrollment, company sponsored events, employee recognition)
- Perform other administrative duties and projects as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- Recruiting experience preferred
- 2+ years of HR experience, ideally in a medical or clinical setting
- Knowledge of healthcare HR compliance
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, calm demeanor, positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and able to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Must have experience in Microsoft Office and HR software (e.g., Paychex, ADP, or similar platforms)
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between office locations as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.46 - $29.71 per hour
