Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant/Coordinator to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced fashion environment. This role will assist with payroll, employee administration, and office coordination to ensure efficient internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and coordination with the payroll provider
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and system setup
• Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
• Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Assist with performance review tracking and HR reporting
• Provide general administrative support to the HR and leadership teams
• Manage office operations, including supplies, vendor coordination, and general workplace needs
• Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc projects as needed

Responsibilities

• 1–3 years of experience in HR, payroll, or administrative support (fashion or retail industry preferred)
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and HR practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., ADP) is a plus

Qualifications

• Experience in the fashion, apparel, or retail industry
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll and compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
