POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the reception and common areas while providing Human Resources and administrative team support.
KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, answers incoming calls, distributes daily mail, and provides general front office support while maintaining a professional and organized reception area.

Assist hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, including reviewing resumes, scheduling phone screens and interviews.

Coordinate onboarding and conduct pre-employment background checks, drug screens, health assessments, and previous employment verifications.

Performs online employment authorization verifications and I-9s using E-Verify.

Facilitate full-cycle onboarding by preparing and collecting new-hire documentation, conducting New Hire Orientation, and ensuring onboarding tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Add and maintain employee records within the HRIS system, HR drive and employee files, ensuring accuracy of employee information and onboarding documentation.

Provide HRIS support and troubleshooting assistance relating to recruiting, onboarding, and employee records.

Runs reports via HR systems and creates new report as needed.

Audits and updates employee records and files to ensure compliance with HR and government regulations.

Prepare safety reports, track safety meeting attendance and test completion, and maintain accurate records and logs.

Administer the Safety Incentive Program by updating employee points, verifying invoices and assisting with award redemptions.

Coordinate annual uniform distribution and maintain accurate records.

Plan, organize, and execute company events in collaboration with the HR team.

Provide administrative and project support for the HR Department and other departments as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative field, preferably in a Human Resources. Previous experience using HRIS strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular and reliable attendance in office is required.

Sufficient visual acuity to perform work tasks accurately.

Exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or up to 5 pounds constantly to move objects.
