Human Resources Coordinator

We are a growing multi-location dental group seeking a full-time, on-site HR Coordinator / Recruiter to own the day-to-day people operations across our practices. This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in delivering a great experience for every team member — from their first day to their last.
You will manage the full employee lifecycle while simultaneously running active recruiting pipelines for clinical and administrative positions. If you love variety, accountability, and being the go-to HR resource for a team that genuinely values its people, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

HR operations

  • Process all new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, and onboarding documentation across multiple locations
  • Manage employee status changes — promotions, LOA, FT/PT etc.
  • Coordinate terminations and lead offboarding, including final pay coordination and benefits transitions (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity
  • Track and follow up on clinical staff license renewals, certifications, and compliance requirements
  • Serve as the first point of contact for team member questions on HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Support reporting, audits, and compliance documentation as needed

Recruiting

  • Write, post, and manage job listings on Indeed, LinkedIn, and dental-specific job boards
  • Review applications and conduct initial phone and video screens for clinical and front office roles
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Assist with offer letters and manage pre-employment steps including background checks and references
  • Track time-to-fill, source performance, and offer acceptance to continuously improve our recruiting approach

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–4 years of HR coordinator, generalist, or HR recruiting experience required
  • Healthcare or dental group experience strongly preferred
  • Experience conducting initial candidate screens and managing recruiting pipelines
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail across multiple locations and priorities
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive personnel matters
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment law basics (FMLA, ADA, FLSA)
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; PHR / aPHR a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $40,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience
  • Paid time off Medical and vision benefits offered along with discounted dental care On-site role, Monday–Friday This position will report to the Regional Manager

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
