Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator - Recruitment is responsible for duties in several areas, including recruitment, employee relations, training, compliance with employment laws, and implementing various HR programs and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
· Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies tailored to specific roles and organizational needs.
· Screens candidates through resume reviews, job applications, and telephone screenings.
· Attend job fairs, community events, and other recruitment-related activities.
· Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
· Source, screen, interview and recommend candidates to supervisors.
· Manage candidate engagement, ensuring a clear understanding of the position.
· Schedule and coordinate interviews with supervisors. Follow-up with candidates upon completion of interview.
· Works with supervisors to update the open requisition list.
Coordinator:
· Collaborate with the development and marketing department to update open positions on the website and social media.
· Process new hire paperwork and updates HRIS with new hires.
· Maintains and audits personnel files.
· Runs background checks at hire and annually, and manages related records (background checks, driving records).
· Assist with staff audits and perform clerical task in the department.
· Provide back-up coverage for the front desk Receptionist.
· Conduct semi-monthly benefit accrual process, collaborating with HR Generalist.
· Attend and assist with quarterly DSP meetings.
· Run various Human Resources reports.
· Knowledge of employment laws and ensures compliance.
· Conduct CPR & First Aid, Trainings
· Send out monthly birthday’s notices to staff.
· Email, post internally, and on Paylocity database open positions and hours to staff.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Attend staff meetings and other meetings as requested.
2. Follow the agency’s confidentiality, privacy, and code of ethics policies.
3. To support professional development by attending agency-approved and/or sponsored meetings, workshops, and seminars related to the areas of practice outlined in this job description. Ensure compliance with all training requirements for both you and staff.
4. Flexible work schedule, some evenings and weekends.
5. Participate in an agency fundraising event annually.
6. Join and fully participate in an agency committee.
7. Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Minimum of an associate’s degree in business administration. Or related field; or the knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent.
Desirable Education:
Bachelor’s in business administration or equivalent education/work experience.
Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
