HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR (TEMPORARY)

The Human Resources Coordinator supports hiring and onboarding, employee relations logistics, HRIS and record keeping, benefits administration, compliance, and colleague engagement programs. The ideal candidate is organized, discrete, customer-service oriented.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues and candidates for HR inquiries (in person, phone, and email)
• Manage onboarding and new-hire orientation: prepare offer letters and paperwork, set up colleague profiles in HRIS, coordinate first-day orientation, and ensure compliance with onboarding checklists.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records (hire/termination dates, job codes, status changes, emergency contacts, licenses/certifications).
• Process routine payroll-related items (timecard corrections, paid time off requests, shift differentials) in partnership with Payroll/Finance.
• Coordinate colleague training logistics and mandatory compliance training; track completions and remind colleagues/managers as needed.
• Consistently maintain highly active participation in all colleague engagement initiatives and events (recognition programs, town halls etc), as this is essential to supporting our culture and team experience.

Bi-lingual Spanish is helpful but not required.

Other HR administrative duties and projects as requested by HR Leadership

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills and literacy in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effectively interacting with employees and management.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge using applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and Canva.
• Experience with HRIS computer systems would be beneficial.
