Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of human capital management systems and employment laws. The Human Resources Generalist will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting organizational growth through effective HR practices.
Responsibilities
Must have a background in ABA
- Employee Relations
- Provide support related to employee relations matters
- Assist leadership with HR-related inquiries and documentation
- Support positive workplace culture and professional communication
Compliance & HR Administration
- Assist with compliance support related to Virginia ABA Medicaid requirements
- Support general HR and administrative compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and records
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Assist with onboarding new employees and contractors
- Support offboarding processes, including documentation and file management
Surveys & Policy Support
- Administer, collect, and review eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) surveys
- Assist with employee handbook edits, updates, and version control
Marketing & Business Support
- Provide support with social media and marketing initiatives
- Assist with business development and administrative projects as assigned
Skills
- Knowledge of human resources management practices including talent management, employee evaluation, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning.
- Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and conflict management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills in strategic planning and organization design.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
