Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and manage all aspects of human resource management. The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with managers and supervisors to oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and organizational development. This leadership role requires a comprehensive understanding of employment law, HRIS systems, and strategic planning to foster a positive workplace culture and support organizational growth. The Human Resources Director will collaborate with senior leadership to develop HR policies, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with OSHA, FMLA, and other relevant regulations.
Duties
- Participate in the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Manage employee relations by helping to address conflicts, maintaining a performance evaluation schedule and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and other regulatory requirements.
- Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off .
- Conduct training & development sessions to enhance employee skills and support organizational initiatives.
- Manage payroll processing activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong background in human resources management at an executive level.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies including recruiting techniques and HR sourcing tools .
- Strong conflict management capabilities.
- Ability to lead training & development programs along with succession planning initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills for effective presentation of HR strategies to senior leadership and staff alike.
- Knowledge of benefits administration platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
