We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Director to oversee all facets of HR for a team of approximately 200 employees. This is astrategic leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of our executive team.

As the HR Director, you’ll shape the employee experience, drive compliance, and champion initiatives that foster an inclusive, thriving workplace. If you’re passionate about building strong teams and creating policies that empower people, this is your opportunity to lead.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit & Onboard: Own the full-cycle hiring process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for new team members.
  • Benefits Management: Oversee benefits programs, coordinate open enrollment, and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • 401(k) Administration: Manage quarterly auto-enrollments, 5500 filings, and discrimination testing.
  • Employee Relations: Advise management on sensitive issues, ensuring fair and lawful practices.
  • Policy Leadership: Develop and update personnel policies and the Employee Handbook.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Handle new hire reporting, unemployment claims, EEOC responses, FMLA, and more.
  • HR Systems & Records: Maintain accurate data in payroll/HR systems and manage employment files.
  • Claims & Verifications: Respond to employment verifications and employment-related claims.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience; 5+ years in HR leadership.
  • Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Non-profit/social services experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office; QuickBooks experience a plus.
  • Mindset: Independent yet collaborative, innovative, and adaptable.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
