Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our HR department and drive organizational success through effective talent management, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and regulations, and the ability to develop innovative HR strategies aligned with business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to managing human capital, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring operational excellence across all HR functions.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Oversee employee relations, conflict management, and employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
- Manage benefits administration, payroll processing through systems such as ADP, Paychex, Workday, Paylocity, Kronos, UltiPro, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and other HRIS platforms.
- Lead performance management processes including employee evaluation systems and training & development programs.
- Supervise HR sourcing activities such as recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation.
- Oversee HR program management including organizational design, change management initiatives, process improvement efforts, and HR project execution.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning related to human capital management and organizational development.
- Conduct data analysis for HR metrics collection to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Manage compliance documentation and contracts related to employment agreements and labor negotiations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with strong leadership capabilities in human resources management.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation regulations, and benefits administration.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian UltiPro/Taleo/PeopleSoft/Kronos/Paylocity for data collection and process automation.
- Demonstrated skills in talent acquisition, employee relations, conflict resolution, negotiation, performance management, and succession planning.
- Strong organizational design expertise along with experience in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership and staff at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for reporting purposes using tools like data analysis software or Excel; familiarity with budgeting is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in Human Resources or Business Administration are highly desirable.
