PURPOSE:
Overall leadership of corporate HR function including recruitment and staffing, training, compensation and benefits, employee relations, workers compensation, workplace safety, and performance management. This is a hands-on leadership role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to HR staff.

Plan coaching and guidance to individuals on organizational processes and procedures.

Analyze compensation rates to ensure local labor market competitiveness.
- Conduct employee relations investigations if complaints arise, and follow up with appropriate corrective actions.

Provide leadership for worker’s compensation claims through closure.

Communicate updates to company policies and procedures to all associates.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal labor regulations.
- Monitor position openings and lead hiring process.

Manage relationship with temporary agencies and assess proper staffing levels, performance management, and local labor pay issues.

Lead new hire and payroll processes as necessary.

Work with the Leadership team to share information, resolve problems, and conduct coaching as necessary.

Approve various HR related expenses including temporary agencies, uniform, and benefit invoices.
- Manage FMLA and Leave of Absence processes and procedures.
- Lead the HR operating budget process and manager monthly variance.
- Responsible for Employee Handbook, personnel files, and legally mandated updates.

Execute annual social compliance customer audits.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

5-7 years of HR leadership experience with oversite of all functional areas of HR.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management required.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs required.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Capable of establishing a high degree of credibility within the organization quickly.
