Human Resources Director

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Director to lead our organization’s HR initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive talent management excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategies that align with our business goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for people development, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of human resources best practices across diverse functions.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational growth and workforce planning.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent using advanced HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
  • Lead employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires and promote organizational culture.
  • Manage performance management systems, employee evaluations, and succession planning initiatives to foster continuous development.
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and workers' compensation policies.
  • Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits through platforms like ADP or Paychex.
  • Supervise HR team members in areas such as employee relations, conflict management, training & development, and HR sourcing.
  • Oversee payroll processing using tools like Paychex, Dayforce or UltiPro while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive process improvements in HR operations through data analysis skills and process optimization techniques such as Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design, change management initiatives, and strategic planning to align HR practices with business objectives.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and workers' compensation procedures.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruiting strategies, and HR sourcing techniques utilizing ATS platforms like Taleo or Lever.
  • Strong negotiation skills for contracts related to benefits administration and vendor management.
  • Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively across multiple HR functions.
  • Expertise in performance management systems and employee evaluation processes to support organizational growth.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or UltiPro for data collection and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting HR strategies to senior leadership and engaging employees at all levels.
  • Ability to manage budgets related to HR programs while ensuring cost-effective solutions through process improvement methods.
  • Familiarity with training & development programs designed to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

Pay: $62,816.30 - $75,649.74 per year
