Human Resources / Executive Assistant (in office)

Convergent Technologies Design Group, Inc (CTDG) is a nationally recognized professional services engineering firm, specializing in Audiovisual Systems, Telecommunications Cabling Systems, Security Systems, and Acoustics, Noise & Vibration Control design.

We are seeking a Human Resources / Executive Assistant to join our growing team of professionals as follows:

Position Description

CTDG is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated individual with 1-5 years experience to provide leadership for the firm's Human Resources and Executive Administrative needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare new hire employment offers
  • Conduct ALL initial new hire interviews
  • Manage ALL recruitment efforts (place ads, website ads, check references)
  • Manage/ distribute ALL onboarding paperwork/ healthcare docs
  • Manage Employee training
  • Update employee handbook
  • Manage vacation schedules
  • Organize company training/ teambuilding events

Requirements / Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Architecture, Marketing or other applicable degree program is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative procedures, work processes, and tools, along with evidence of past successful administrative support
  • The ability to think creatively and strategically. Develop creative ideas as well as listen and build on the ideas of others in the firm. Flexibility and a creative approach to problem-solving are essential
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated visual, written, and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with both peers and senior members of the firm, and professional staff at all levels
  • Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams in a collaborative, professional environment
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects, meeting deadlines and working well under pressure, while maintaining a high level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proactive-can-do attitude and initiative to collaborate with office staff
  • Sound professional judgment, strong work ethic, positive and client-focused attitude.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivator who likes to work collaboratively with colleagues across all levels
