HR Generalist

Position
This position serves as a liaison between employees, supervisors, and leadership to ensure a positive employee experience, maintain compliance with employment laws, and support the company’s culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement. The HR Generalist is responsible for coordinating and executing HR processes across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to retention, performance management, and offboarding—while contributing to long-term workforce planning and organizational development.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing employee training and career development programs.
  • Monitor employee engagement and recommend initiatives to improve retention.
  • Assist in planning company events, wellness programs, and recognition activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in HR processes and employee experience.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support conflict resolution, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure fairness and consistency in employee interactions.
  • Compliance standards are consistently met.
  • Positive contributions to company culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with an HRIS system such as Paycom or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
