Toyota of York is seeking a Human Resources Professional to join our team!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Salary based on experience
Job Duties:
- Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of position at all times
- Process weekly payroll
- Facilitate full cycle recruiting including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, partnering with managers to select applicants for hire, administering background screens and drug tests, and administer new hire orientation
- Partner with managers to advise and administer disciplinary action as appropriate
- Conduct investigations as necessary and mitigate employee relations issues
- Conduct feedback interviews with employees and review information with managers for potential improvements
- Advise and perform terminations as appropriate
- Administer communications with unemployment department
- Track attendance for compliance with attendance policy, and track used vacation, PTO, or unpaid time off taken by employees
- Report appropriate information monthly to controller for proper closing of the month
- Responsible for benefits administration including monthly meetings with newly eligible employees, communicating new enrollments to insurance carriers, and ensuring correct insurance payment deductions are setup in payroll system
- Pay and reconcile insurance bills monthly
- Pay and reconcile 401K contributions weekly
- Participate in annual 401K audit
- Conduct annual open enrollment
- Perform annual year-end tasks including review of W2s and 1095s
- Administer and track all leave programs
- Report and manage all worker’s compensation claims
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance with changing laws and social norms
- Manage licensing of employees as needed
- Administrate several training programs including safety, security awareness, and anti-harassment
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned including assistance with bookkeeping
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Previous automotive dealership experience preferred

Accounting knowledge preferred but not required
