Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will support the various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, investigations and compliance. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR initiatives, foster a positive workplace culture, and support organizational growth. The HR Generalist will collaborate closely with leadership and employees to ensure HR policies and practices align with business objectives and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding policies, procedures, and workplace concerns
  • Conduct investigations related to employee complaints, performance issues, or policy violations
  • Support audit and licensing requirements
  • Initiate or support activities that reinforce employee engagement
  • Partner with assigned customer groups to understand staffing needs and coordinate with Talent Acquisition Manager for hiring and on-boarding
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollments and changes
  • Coordinate leave processes, including FMLA, TDI, FLI, Workers’ Compensation, ADA
  • Manage Workers’ Compensation program: report incidents, work with carrier to return employees safely to work, complete OSHA annual reports
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and assist employees with system navigation
  • Generates reports and analyzes HR metrics to support decision making
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2-5 years of HR generalist experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with both non-exempt and exempt employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms
  • Excellent organization, and strong communication skills – oral and written;
  • Strong interpersonal and partnering skills;
  • Flexibility with work schedule to meet the requirement of the employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
