We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Human Resources Generalist who thrives in a dynamic environment and takes ownership of their responsibilities. GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department in several areas: recruitment, employee relations, wellness, benefits, and payroll.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain confidentiality with all employees’ records.

  • Assist employees with general HR questions in a timely, effective, and courteous manner including health insurance and 401K retirement plan.
  • Support & maintain the recruiting process and onboarding of new employees.
  • Process FMLA and COBRA documentation.
  • Support the evaluation process and ensure all completed in a timely manner.
  • Assists the Payroll Specialist with biweekly payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Support the wellness program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal office conditions with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions.

Continually uses a telephone and a computer to perform job requirements.

Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per shift, with reasonable accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • HR: 2 years (Preferred)
