Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of HR functions to support organizational goals, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong HR management skills, strategic planning capabilities, and excellent communication abilities to foster a positive workplace environment and drive talent initiatives.
Duties
- Oversee talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
- Administer employee orientation programs and conduct employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives
- Manage benefits administration and employee relations to promote a supportive work environment
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation policies
- Develop and implement HR strategies including change management, succession planning, and organizational design
- Maintain accurate HRIS data entry and manage workforce management systems like Quickbooks, BuddyPunch, etc.
- Facilitate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities
- Handle contracts, data collection, conflict management, and other administrative HR functions to streamline operations
- Other duties, as necessary
Skills
- Bilingual is a must for a primarily Spanish speaking team
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM, or Dayforce
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law including FMLA, OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures
- Experience with project management tools and strategic planning for HR initiatives
- Excellent communication skills for effective employee relations and social media management related to employer branding
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail in data collection and entry
- Skilled in conflict management, organizational design, performance management, and training & development programs
- Familiarity with payroll systems like ADP or Quickbooks

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
