Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of human capital management, employment and labor law, and strategic HR practices. Duties
- Manage full-cycle talent acquisition including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday.
- Administer employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to promote professional development.
- Oversee benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Develop and implement HR policies related to employment law, FMLA, affirmative action planning, and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues through effective conflict management and communication skills.
- Maintain HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or UltiPro for data collection, reporting, and compliance purposes.
- Support change management initiatives and organization design projects to optimize workforce productivity.
- Facilitate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and performance management processes.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations while managing contracts and HR documentation.
- Utilize social media management tools for employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management or related fields with a strong understanding of human capital management principles.
- Demonstrated expertise in employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation, and benefits administration.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, Paychex, or Kronos is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) like iCIMS or Taleo; proficiency in data entry and project management is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle employee relations issues effectively.
- Experience in strategic planning, organization design, talent acquisition, performance management, training & development, and succession planning is highly desirable.
- Prior administrative experience supporting HR sourcing activities through social media platforms or other channels is advantageous. Pay: $52,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
