Human Resources Generalist

Overview
MAXX Property Management is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing employees and creating a positive organizational culture. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and workforce management. The HR Generalist will serve as a key partner in organizational development and employee engagement efforts, supporting various HR systems and processes to enhance overall business performance.

Duties

• Support payroll processing and timecard management.
• Lead talent acquisition efforts through sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified candidates.
• Manage employee orientation programs, performance evaluations, and training & development initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
• Assist HR Director with ensuring adherence to employment & labor law requirements.
• Maintain HRIS system.
• Assist HR Director with employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies while fostering a positive work environment.
• Collaborate on projects related to HR management including workforce management, organization design, and HR analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year proven experience in human resources management.
• Familiarity with employment & labor law regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage employee relations effectively and handle conflict resolution professionally.
• Experience with benefits administration, payroll systems, and workforce management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability in training & development programs along with talent acquisition strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, etc.) is a plus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
