Human Resources Generalist

Job Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding & Records Management

  • Coordinate onboarding for all new hires and ensure completion of required documentation (W-4, I-9, direct deposit, background authorization, etc.)
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee data in Paylocity (demographics, pay rate, supervisor assignment, PTO setup, etc.)
  • Review onboarding documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel records

Payroll, Benefits & Employee Data Administration

  • Administer health insurance and employee benefits, including open enrollment coordination
  • Support employees with benefit questions and enrollment through Ease
  • Coordinate with financial advisor on 401(k) plan updates and participation
  • Monitor employee anniversaries and support performance review cycles
  • Process wage changes upon approval and update in Paylocity
  • Track referral bonuses and maintain documentation
  • Assist with Paylocity updates (demographics, direct deposit, etc.)
  • Ensure time clock corrections and PTO requests are properly reviewed and submitted

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Assist with recruiting efforts including resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate support
  • Participate in hiring discussions and assist with selection process
  • Support new hire orientation and handbook review

Employee Relations & Management Support

  • Serve as a resource for employees and management regarding policies and workplace concerns
  • Provide guidance on PTO, benefits, and company procedures
  • Support supervisors with employee relations matters and performance concerns
  • Escalate issues to leadership when necessary


(Note: HR provides guidance and support related to workplace matters; personal counseling or therapy services are outside the scope of the HR role.)

Requirements:


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Hybrid and remote options available
