The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations. This role serves as a key partner to leadership and employees by providing guidance and support in employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, attendance tracking, policy implementation, and training coordination. The HR Generalist will help maintain a positive employee experience by acting as a frontline resource for workforce needs, addressing concerns professionally, and ensuring consistent application of company policies. This position plays a vital role in strengthening workplace culture, supporting retention efforts, and assisting with HR process improvements that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role, with at least 1-2 years of direct experience handling workers’ compensation claims and OSHA reporting
• Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws,
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems
