Placon, a recognized leader in thermoformed packaging for over 60 years, is seeking an onsite HR Generalist to support recruiting, employee relations, Massachusetts leave-of-absence administration, and a broad range of HR functions at our West Springfield, MA facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a positive, engaging workplace culture.

Schedule

Full-time | Monday–Friday | 7 AM – 4 PM | Onsite

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers)
• Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching conversations
• Administer MA leave programs (PFML, ADA accommodations, internal LOA processes)
• Maintain HRIS data, employee files, and required documentation
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and policy interpretation
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards

What We're Looking For

• 3 - 5 years of HR experience required
• Experience with recruiting and employee relations
• Experience with MA leave administration strongly preferred
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and problemsolving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
