Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist, Administrative Assistant to join our growing Non-Emergency Medical Transport team. This multifaceted role combines essential HR functions with administrative support to ensure smooth operations across the organization. You will play a vital role in supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives while maintaining efficient office processes. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes including sourcing candidates through ATS systems, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities such as employee orientation and training programs.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation claims, and leave management such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) requests.
- Support HRIS data entry and maintenance using platforms like to ensure accurate employee records and workforce management data.
- Assist with employee relations by addressing inquiries related to employment policies, conflict management issues, and performance management processes while ensuring compliance with employment & labor law standards.
- Coordinate organizational design efforts and support change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions during restructuring or strategic planning efforts.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics such as affirmative action planning, succession planning, and employee evaluation outcomes; utilize data collection tools for analysis.
- Oversee administrative functions including managing contracts, payroll processing via systems like Paycom or ADP, scheduling interviews, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, and supporting social media management for employer branding.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources and administrative support roles within a corporate environment or professional organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of human capital management practices including talent management, performance management, and training & development strategies.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing tools.
- Experience handling benefits administration tasks related to OSHA compliance, workers' compensation claims, and leave policies such as FMLA.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in data entry and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations to ensure organizational compliance across various HR functions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new HR technologies such as ADP for workforce management and payroll processing. Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
