Brethren Village Retirement Community, in Lititz, PA, is seeking an H.R. professional for our Human Resources Generalist & Benefits Administrator vacancy. The Generalist & Benefits Administrator will perform a wide variety of Human Resources functions in support of Brethren Village's 480 Team Members.
Brethren Village is seeking a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in a professional role within a Human Resources department, including experience with benefit plan administration and with a Human Resources Information System.
Note: This position may be filled at a management level depending on the experience of the successful applicant, with a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The Human Resources Generalist & Benefits Administrator will work with a small H.R. team to:

oversee and accurately administer benefit plans, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision, life insurance, disability insurance
-
explain and enroll Team Members in benefit plans, and process benefit terminations
-
support the hiring and pre-employment processes for all areas of Brethren Village (healthcare areas, dining, maintenance and grounds, support services)
-
administer and track leaves of absence including Family & Medical Leave
-
enter and maintain accurate data in the Human Resources Information System (UKG Ready); assist to configure UKG Ready
-
prepare and analyze various reports; accurately track data
-
respond to inquiries and requests for information from Team Members, and provide timely and helpful service in a professional manner
Work Schedule
-
Full-time, benefits-eligible, 40 hours per week: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. or similar hours; Monday through Friday; on-site
Core Requirements:

a high school diploma or G.E.D.
-
basic computer skills: the ability to access and navigate web sites, and use software, apps, and databases independently

the ability to complete online training independently

dependability: ability and willingness to meet attendance standards

attention to safety: ability and willingness to consistently work in a safe and alert manner, and to report to work fit for duty; commitment to wearing protective equipment as required for the position and adhering to all health and safety standards

commitment to treating each Resident, Team Member, and member of the Brethren Village community with respect
Additional Requirements for this Position:
-
at least 2 years of professional experience working in a Human Resources office as a generalist or benefits administrator; experience administering benefit plans
-
experience working with an integrated H.R. / Payroll / Time and Attendance system
-
solid understanding of employment regulations, including EEO / anti-discrimination regulations; the ACA, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA; COBRA; HIPAA; PA Workers' Compensation regulations
high attention to detail and accuracy with work
ability to keep work organized and to complete work in a timely manner
demonstrated client-service focus; commitment to providing friendly, helpful, and timely service to Team Members, applicants for employment, and others
- commitment to adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards with respect to Human Resources information and data, and using proper discretion in all communications
