Position: Human Resource Generalist (HR)
Edenbrook Fond Du Lac, part of the Eden Senior Care network, is looking for an amazing Human Resource Generalist for our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate must possess a working knowledge of HR functions and excellent people skills. This individual would be working under the Administrator and would be responsible for running payroll.

Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

Completes all new hire documentation and on-boarding processes

Maintains an understanding of credentials, licenses, certifications, evaluations and federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Maintains employee filing on an ongoing basis; ensuring documents are placed in the appropriate places within correct files.

Updates terminated employee files.

Complete Payroll (bi-monthly)

Enters and verifies data on electronic databases.

Provides assistance to the employee relations, recruitment, staffing, and customer service operations of the Human Resources department.

Assists in terminations, corrective actions, and implementation of organizational changes, dispute resolution, and other HR tasks.

Provides management with advice on minor corrective actions and/or terminations, and/or assists with investigations as needed.

Completes special HR projects as assigned.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This job is ideal for individuals who have HR experience from entry-level to managerial level. We are open to candidates who have the following backgrounds; HR Assistance, Human Resources internships or have recently graduated from university and are looking to get into the Human Resources field.
Qualifications:

1+ year of previous HR experience, 5+ years of experience preferred.

Experience in healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
