We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused
HR Generalist
with a strong background in
payroll administration
to support our growing organization. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing while also supporting core HR functions such as employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, confidential, and comfortable balancing payroll accuracy with employee support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a positive and professional representative of the company.

Support payroll-related activities by reviewing time records, resolving discrepancies, and processing employee pay, job status, and compensation changes accurately through HRIS and payroll systems.

Monitor employee milestones and coordinate compensation, benefits, and recognition activities with HR leadership.

Manage pre-employment and onboarding processes, including background checks, eligibility verification, documentation, and new hire orientation to promote engagement and retention.

Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, partnering with hiring managers to identify and attract qualified candidates while maintaining compliant recruiting records and reports.

Track and document compliance with training, certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements.

Administer and support HR programs across compensation, benefits, leave, employee relations, performance management, investigations, safety, training, and engagement initiatives.

Respond to employment-related inquiries, escalating sensitive or complex matters as appropriate.

Participate in and document employee relations activities, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, while maintaining confidentiality and integrity of HR records.

Assist with HR reporting, recordkeeping, special events, and organizational initiatives.

Participate in meetings and maintain consistent attendance and readiness at scheduled start times to support business and customer needs.
Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and certification (i.e., HRCI-aPHR, HRCI-PHR, or SHRM-CP certification with one or more years of experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment)
Preferred Education And Experience

Bilingual in Spanish and English

One or more years of human resource experience, preferably for a manufacturing company

Working knowledge of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HRIS
Position Type And Expected Hours Of Work

Full-time, hours are generally 7:30-4:30pm, Monday through Friday; some overtime may be required
