Human Resources Generalist Part-Time

For over 50 years Qualicoat Inc. has been a quality applicator of decorative and functional coatings per customer specifications to plastic and metal substrates. We are a leading supplier to companies in the sheet-metal, machining, computer, electronics, office equipment, architectural, medical, aerospace, defense and die casting industries. Qualicoat Inc. also engages in chromate conversion coatings for aluminum, iron & zinc phosphating, asset reconditioning, sub-assemblies, intricate masking, silk screening, and pad printing. We are certified by many large Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies as well as meeting numerous military and DOD specifications.

Currently we have a need for a part-time Human Resources Manager.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for communicating and deploying all Human Resources initiatives. Candidates must have minimum 5 years of HR experience. This role requires considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively handle confidential information.

Responsibilities include:

• Full cycle Recruitment and Onboarding
• New employee orientation
• Benefits Administration
• Workers Compensation
• Payroll (as a back-up)
• Employee Relations
• Performance management and feedback processes
• Provide proactive guidance and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations issues
• Keeps all files current, updated, and ready for any external or internal audit
• Ensure consistent delivery of HR policies to maintain organizational compliance with state and federal labor laws
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 -5 years of progressive experience as Human Resources Generalist
• Excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet resources
• Payroll experience with Paychex software a plus
• Ability to work well as a team and independently
• Must have availability to work up to 32 hours each week

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
