Astria Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team!


This is not a remote position and will support the entire organization. Homebase is in Sunnyside, WA.


Shift for this role is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 04:30pm.


What you get to do every day!


As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and employee development. This role serves as the liaison between employees and management, ensuring that HR-related tasks are efficiently handles in accordance with company policies and labor laws. You will:


  • Manage and track onboarding processes, including the facilitation of new hire orientation
  • HRIS system administration, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing HR functionality
  • Propose and manage projects, including implementation and optimization of HR processes
  • Address employee concerns and grievances by providing guidance on policies and workplace issues
  • Lead and conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, grievances or misconduct, providing comprehensive reports outlining finding and any corrective and preventative measures.
  • Provides support to both managers and employees in performance management; assisting with the development of corrective action and performance improvement plans
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law
  • Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
  • Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (or) 5 years' experience preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Strong knowledge employment regulations and HR best practices
  • Proficiency is HR software and MS Suite
  • Oral and written fluency in the English language

Preferred Qualifications and Education.


  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR
  • Experience in labor and employee relations

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This position is not associated with a union contract.
